Beers 4 Queers

It's our last pub night of the semester, and also a last goodbye!

Our coordinator Vaz will be leaving us at the end of the semester, so this will be one of his last events! In addition, this will also be our last event at Catalina's since we have heard the news that they're closing at the end of the year.

So come out, have drinks, and wish farewell to our friends and good luck in the new year!

(Yes, the event is on a Friday this time! We are technically sharing the night with Catalina's regular Friday Queer Social)

Even if you do not get into our event, you are still welcome to stay and pay for your own game. Fun should be had all around!

QUEERientaton: Alphabet Soup

  • Seasoned Spoon Cafe (Champlain College) (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

It's time for our first Alphabet Soup meeting of the season, and the TQC is excited to showcase some new changes. Alphabet Soup, our bi-weekly queer discussion group and activity space, has evolved into a weekly drop-in queer discussion group, held on-campus at the Seasoned Spoon Cafe.

Stop by the cafe for as long as you like! Grab a hot beverage and a dessert, and strike up a conversation with some fellow TQC community members. Every week, we will have a discussion topic to get things rolling - but as always, Alphabet Soup is run by YOU - so feel free to bring your own ideas to the table!

This week, we will kick off the conversation by sharing our own stories. What was the queer community like in your hometown? At your high school? Where did you come from, and what path brought you here? Now that you're here, what's next? What do you want to see happen, and how do we get there?

For those of you who knew and loved the workshops, guest speakers, and arts & crafts that used to be a part of Alphabet Soup, have no fear! We will still be hosting Alphabet Soup special events once a month, so stay tuned!

Everyone is welcome, so drop in and say hello. We can't wait to meet you!
