There are many queer and allied organizations and initiatives in Peterborough. These groups do an amazing job at providing resources and hosting events for the queer community here in Peterborough. For more information, please contact the organizations directly.

Peterborough Community Legal Centre: Remote Trans ID Pilot Project 
The Trans ID Clinic Pilot Project is a remote service run by the Peterborough Community Legal Centre (PCLC) that will provide free legal information, form-filling services and referrals to transgender and gender diverse folks in the Peterborough City and County. PCLC lawyers and our 3rd year summer law student, Alex McMichael (she/her) will work collaboratively with trans and gender diverse individuals to obtain new pieces of government issued identification with their appropriate/accurate name change and gender markers.
